Build Pc Amd Ryzen 3 2200g
PCWorld
Hardware releases washed over everyone in one big fall moving ridge this year—a predictable result given months of worldwide chaos, but one that's hardly left u.s. a chance to breathe. The onslaught hasn't merely been a first set of Ryzen, GeForce, and Radeon parts, either. Some of the best cases we've seen in awhile hit streets in the final three months besides.
At present that 2020's major launches are finally done, the PCWorld staff at terminal has a petty time to celebrate. And we're going to exercise information technology by edifice a luxe PC alive!
You can think of this one as an updated riff on our Viva Las Vegas build from 2018. However, instead of imitating the Vegas Strip, the goal is to save a tree and use RGB fans to get our set of flashing vacation lights.
Hither are the parts we'll exist using:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- CPU Cooler: Lian Li Galahad AIO 240 RGB
- Motherboard: MSI Magazine B550M Mortar Wi-Fi
- GPU: Asus TUF Radeon RX 6800 XT
- RAM: Grand.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3600
- Storage: SK Hynix P31 1TB NVMe SSD + SK Hynix S31 1TB 2.5" SATA SSD
- PSU: Corsair SF 600W 80+ Gold SFX
- PSU Cables: Corsair Individually Sleeved PSU Cables Type iv
- Case: Lian Li O11D Mini
- Case Fans: Lian Li UNI Fan iii-pack (2x)
Conveniently, waiting until Dec to build a new, palatial PC with all the latest and greatest components means I can exercise a proper build in the O11D Mini and play with Lian Li'due south Uni Fans, both of which I've been itching to attempt out for months. I have a lot of hopes riding on the Uni fans in item, considering I can stitch to four of them at i time on a single set of wires. (Cable management was a fleck of a pain in the Viva Las Vegas build.) I'thou as well excited to work with the namesake parts of this build: Ryzen 5000 and Radeon 6000 sizzled in our review benchmarks. Getting hands-on experience with AMD's new Smart Admission Retentiveness feature (and taking the 6800 XT for a spin in several games over my holiday break) volition be a treat.
Because this build will be more involved, we're splitting it into two parts. This first round will cease effectually the bespeak where we'd mount the GPU. It remains to be seen when I'll take a stab at cable management—if the Uni Fans deliver on Lian Li's promises, maybe we'll tempt fate and begin the process before first boot.
